Rest and Relaxation

We feel very fortunate for the time we were able to spend together as a family the past couple of weeks. Although it is not the ideal situation to be apart, it sure has brought each of us much appreciation for each member of our family. Below you will see some pictures capturing some of our favorite memories.

Enjoying a little taste of Germany....

Lily and Emerson with the help of Grandma and Papa made Daddy a welcome home banner.  What a wonderful reunion.  Even though Emeson looks occupied in the picture he sure was overjoyed with having his Daddy home (and of course Lily and Mommy).
This is what I call happiness!

Much thanks to this wonderful woman, who sure knows how to throw a party. We were lucky to see much family and friends at Bryce's welcome home party. The most exciting part of the evening was seeing the Maygren's who decided to surprise us and what a fun surprise that was.
How could they get any more adorable?!?!

We spent a few days in Southern California with family.  While there we had to treat ourselves to some wonderful sushi from, Onyx.  They were so kind and gave Bryce a beautiful dessert platter which we all enjoyed.  Thank you to all those at Onyx!
Yum!
Relaxation at Grandma and Papa's

Having fun at home.....
and fun in the car.....
Enjoying ourselves in Yosemite
What a beautiful sight, Yosemite Valley in the winter.
Sledding in the fishing raft
So irresistible!!!

Happy Halloween!

We had a wonderful Halloween although, it wasn’t the same without Daddy. Every year Daddy has always been the one to take our little darlings trick or treating. It seemed that I always had class on Halloween night.

We started celebrating on Friday with a wonderful party at church, we had so much fun with all of our friends and family.

Saturday we decided that we must keep the Maygren Family tradition and have doughnuts and apple cider so we went up to Darby apple and got our doughnuts and cider. Since…I always have to put a twist on everything I decided that we couldn’t have our doughnuts unless we could get them hanging from a string, using only our mouths. It was so much fun! We also decided why not, lets bob for apples, so we did. As you can see some of us not only bobbed for apples but decided to play in the water as if it were 100 degrees outside.

Overall it was a fantastic weekend but there was definitely a piece missing. It wasn’t the same without you Daddy! We Love You!!!
