We are very excited for Halloween, the kids have been looking forward to the next couple of days for months it seems like. Happy Halloween!

The Price of Freedom

My sister Heather married into an amazing family with so much talent I don't even know where to begin to start. One of her brother-in-laws was just in a concert/production called, The Price of Freedom. It is a documentary of World War II soldiers, the dialogue between the actors are actual letters that were written between the battlefield and home. Bryce is shippin off !!

Bryce leaving out of the door for his 1st deployment to Iraq - he will be near Baghdad. This is not all he had to take he took a giant box on wheels which had another duffle bag and a few other

Lake Oconee

We just got back from an amazing weekend getaway at Lake Oconee. At the last minute we decided to go fishing for the weekend and were fortunate enough to rent an adorable lake side cottage. Everyone enjoyed the house...Bryce could fish all day and all night (literally), while Elise and the kids enjoyed the beautiful scenery and played by the lake. We met really nice people, ate good food and enjoyed everything the lake had to offer. Wish you could have all been there. Enjoy the photos.
