some photos from San Francisco (a trip elise and I took)

Our Weekend getaway to San Francisco was just the two of us without the kids. We stayed in a nice hotel, and went shopping and eating at some nice eateries we found. This really good Italian seafood place we found off a local television channel (it was called something like capurros) Elise had a soup and salad, and I had some yummy gnocchi with crab. oh it was good! We did alot of walking up and down the hills. I was being kind of negative at first, but it became very fun looking at the cool buildingd, breathtaking views, and nice apartments people spend a fortune on. We had two more highlights the next day, we went to this chineese retraunt in china town that a friend up here in the foothills recommended us to go to. It was called hunan homes, the place was really good. I walked for hours after that and still felt fat!! (I did eat alot which I have not been doing lately that might have done it oopps) Elise and I found the coolest hat store and I am not one to really be into wanting hats although I could have bought a dozen, there was a variety of different types of hats. Oh elise found this linen store she was very thrilled about please help we really dont need more linen (although there were a few nice things in there). Oh I dont want to bore you besides Giradellis square (brownie sundays oh yea so good!) We had the best weekend just being together spending some time alone (sounds chessy too bad because it was the best weekend ever!!)
This was Elise near our Alcatraz look out point looking good :)

This is when Elise and I first got to San Francisco (we had a blast) she was monkey'in around...

lastly...

more pictures....

Happy Halloween!

How does time go by so fast? Looking at these pictures I can’t believe how big and grown up my little angels are. They are becoming so independent and no longer need and depend on me for everything...so sad :( I know it’s a wonderful part of life but as a parent really hard to go through and I know it only gets worse.

Carly just had her baby this week and I was able to reflect on all the wonderful and terrifying moments that I was able to experience while delivering Emerson and Lily. I miss feeling the baby move around inside of me when I was pregnant and listening to the heart beat at all the doctor’s apts…then there’s the anticipation of the beloved day when you can hold this precious gift from God in your arms. It sounds crazy but I miss the excitement in the hospital of all the labor pains and whether or not you’re ready to push. It is one of the most beautiful and sacred parts of life. After the terrifying moment of almost loosing Emerson I thought I’d never want to have another baby, but it is so amazing that after a couple of weeks your fear is gone and the desire to go through it again is very much real.

Lily and Emerson are the most beautiful, perfect children inside and out! I feel so incredibly blessed to have them in my life. Children truly are blessings from God. (Now if I could only have 10 :-))

Lily Emerson and I ..Fishing. huh

I did not know how this would turn out, so I risked it anyway I wanted to fish really bad today, so I took Lily and Emerson with me. I know it is o.k. with Lily, although it is emerson I was not sure of. I actually just planned on leaving him nearby the fishing spot in the car with the window down (this all depended on the water level of the lake.) The water level was down and I brought both kids with me near the water, and for my sake and luck, everything went well really well I guess. The kids and I caught 4 fish in an hour three o.k. size smallmouth bass and one skinny aggresive bugger. Sorry everybody bad Dad and I forgot the camera so there are no pics. Although there are some witnesses Lily will tell you we caught some greenie fish. (that is the bass were a greenish color so she called them :greenies") came home made dinner and picked up dianna from work and got home all before Mom (elise) got home from school. good job Bryce way to go ...
